How activation works
We activate Mobile X at BK Wireless on Beach 20th Street. Bring your unlocked phone and photo ID. If you're switching from another carrier and want to keep your number, bring your old account number and PIN — we handle the port at the counter. Most activations complete in 15 to 30 minutes.

Do I need a credit check?
No. Mobile X is a prepaid carrier — no credit check, no Social Security number, no annual contract required.
Can I keep my phone number?
Yes. Bring your old carrier's account number and PIN. Port-ins typically complete within 15 minutes at the counter.
