How activation works
We activate H2O Wireless at BK Wireless on Beach 20th Street. Bring your unlocked phone, photo ID, and your old carrier's account number if you're porting your number. If you're new to H2O, we'll set up your SIM and walk you through your plan. Most activations are done in 15 to 30 minutes.
- Bring photo ID. Required for every prepaid activation.
- Bring an unlocked phone. Or buy one from us at the counter.
- Keep your number. Bring your old carrier's account number and PIN to port in.
- Pay how you want. Cash, debit, credit card, Apple Pay, Zelle, or Cash App accepted.

What network does H2O Wireless use?
H2O Wireless runs on the AT&T network, providing nationwide 5G and 4G LTE coverage including the Rockaway peninsula and surrounding areas.
Does H2O Wireless include international calling?
Yes. All monthly plans include unlimited international talk and text to 70+ countries plus an international talk credit. The $50 and $60 plans include unlimited mobile-to-mobile calling to Pakistan. International roaming in 36 countries is available on the $50 and $60 plans.
Do I need a credit check?
No. H2O Wireless is prepaid — no credit check, no Social Security number, no annual contract.
Can I keep my phone number?
Yes. Bring your old carrier's account number and PIN. Port-ins typically complete within 15 minutes at the counter.
What happens after I use my high-speed data?
After your high-speed data allowance is used, data speeds are reduced for the remainder of the billing cycle. You can add a data top-up ($10 for 2GB or $20 for 5GB) to restore full speeds.
Does H2O Wireless work in my country when I travel?
The $50 and $60 monthly plans include international roaming in 36 countries. All plans include unlimited international text to the world. Ask us at the counter for a full country list.
