We open the port with proper tools (not a paper clip — please don't use a paper clip), clean it out, and test the connection. If it works, you walk out free of charge. If it doesn't, we replace the port. Most repairs are same-day.

Can you really fix it just by cleaning?
Often, yes. About 60-70% of charging port issues we see are debris in the port, not broken hardware. We use a wooden pick and air to clear it — no metal tools that could short the pins. If cleaning works, you don't pay for the visit.
How long does a port replacement take?
Most charging port replacements 45-90 minutes on the bench, similar to a screen replacement. Some models require more disassembly so call ahead if you need a same-day rush.

Same process. iPhone 15 and later use USB-C; we stock both parts.
