The TCL 60 XE NXTPAPER 5G carries a 6.78-inch NXTPAPER IPS LCD, and that panel choice decides how a screen repair goes. An LCD swap on this model is one of the faster bench jobs we do, and the free diagnostic confirms the panel rather than the connector is at fault before any work starts. The 120 Hz refresh rate is part of what you paid for — we confirm it survives the repair instead of silently dropping to 60 Hz on a mismatched part. Native resolution is 1080 x 2460.
The TCL 60 XE NXTPAPER 5G shipped with a 5,010 mAh battery. Once charge cycles wear that down, a replacement brings the phone back to its original runtime — not a workaround, the actual fix. Charging spec: USB-C, 18W wired — we test the full charge path after every battery or port job.
"Charges only at an angle" on the TCL 60 XE NXTPAPER 5G points at its USB-C assembly — we clean and test the port before selling you a replacement it might not need. This model carries no meaningful water-resistance rating, so any liquid contact is worth a same-day inspection — corrosion starts before symptoms do.
