What's the difference between cracked lens and a broken camera?
The lens is the glass cover. If only the glass is cracked but photos still come out clear, the lens cover alone can be replaced. If photos are blurry, won't focus, or won't open, the camera module itself needs swapping.
Will Face ID still work after a front camera repair?
Yes on iPhone X and newer when we use the correct paired module. We tell you upfront if your phone needs a part that affects Face ID before starting.
How long does a camera repair take?
Most camera repairs finish the same day. Front camera and Face ID work usually runs 60–120 minutes on the bench.
My iPhone camera shakes/buzzes when I open the app — what's that?
That's usually the optical image stabilization (OIS) motor failing. We replace the rear camera module, which fixes both the buzzing and the blurry photos that come with it.
