What is it worth?
No two phones get the same offer. What moves the number:
- The exact model and storage.
- The condition: cracks, battery health, scratches.
- Whether it is unlocked, and whether the IMEI is clean. Check your IMEI for free.
- Whether Find My or your Google account is still on it.
Cracked, or not turning on? It can still get an offer. A broken phone gets a lower offer than a working one, but it is still cash.
Your options
- Sell it for cash, at the counter on Beach 20th Street or by mail.
- Trade it toward something new. Take the offer as store credit for a phone, an accessory or an activation, and we bump it slightly.
- Keep it as a backup phone.
- Recycle it if it has no value left.
Get an iPhone ready
Turn off Find My, sign out of your Apple Account and erase it. Step by step: How to turn off Find My iPhone before you sell it.
Get an Android phone ready
These are Samsung Galaxy steps; other Android phones are close.
- 1 of 3Back up your photos, videos and files
- 2 of 3Remove your Google account
If a Google account is still on the phone, it may ask for that account after a reset before anyone can use it again. In Settings, open Accounts, pick your Google account and remove it.
- 3 of 3Factory reset it
Review the list, tap Reset, then Delete all. If a Samsung account is signed in, it asks for that password, and it needs an internet connection to sign out.

Questions
How much is my old phone worth?
It depends on the model, storage, condition and whether it is locked. Send the trade-in form for an estimate; we confirm the cash price at the counter after we test it.
Do you buy broken phones?
Yes. A cracked or broken phone gets a lower offer than a working one, but it is still cash on the spot.
What do I need to bring?
The phone and a government-issued photo ID. The charger and box are optional. Turn off Find My, or remove your Google account, before you come in.
Can I sell my phone by mail?
Yes. Send the trade-in form and write mail-in in the notes, and we tell you how it works.
