Terms of Service

These terms explain what you can expect from us and what we ask of you when you use BK Wireless for a repair, trade-in, or wireless service. They're written plainly on purpose — no surprises is how we run the shop.
Repair estimates and pricing
We give a flat-rate quote after a free diagnostic. That's the price you pay — we don't pad the bill mid-repair. If we open the device and the actual scope is different from what we quoted, we stop and re-quote before doing any further work. You're free to decline; if we can't fix it, you owe nothing.
Payment
Payment is due when the repair is complete and the device is returned to you. We accept cash, all major credit cards, Apple Pay, and Cash App. New York City sales tax is added to repairs.
Back up your device
- Back up your data before any repair. Screen, battery, port, and back-glass repairs don't normally touch your data, and we never wipe a phone without your written approval — but electronics are unpredictable, especially on devices that are already damaged.
- We are not responsible for loss of data, photos, contacts, or settings that may occur during a repair. By leaving your device with us, you accept that risk and confirm you've backed up anything you can't afford to lose.
Device drop-off and pickup
- We'll text or call you when your device is ready.
- Unclaimed devices. A device left with us and not picked up within 90 days of the date we notify you it's ready may be treated as abandoned, and we may dispose of or recycle it to recover unpaid repair costs and storage, as permitted by law. Please pick up promptly or let us know if you need more time.
Warranty
Every repair carries a 60-day parts and labor warranty. The full terms — what's covered, what isn't, and how to claim — are on our warranty page.
Trade-ins and phone purchases
- To sell or trade a phone you must present a valid government-issued photo ID.
- We test the device in front of you and make a cash offer based on its condition. Offers are final once accepted and paid.
- You confirm the device is yours to sell and is not reported lost or stolen.
Wireless service
Prepaid plans, activations, and device sign-ups are governed by the terms of the carrier you choose (Spectrum, T-Mobile, Verizon, Simple Mobile, Ultra Mobile, and others). Plan prices and features are set by the carriers and can change; we'll tell you the current terms at the counter.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BK Wireless's liability for any repair or service is limited to the amount you paid for that repair or service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost data or lost use of the device.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any dispute will be handled in the courts located in Queens County, New York.
Changes to these terms
If we update these terms, we'll post the new version here with a new "last updated" date.
